The Lovejoy 2926V profile variable speed cogged V-belt is 1-13/16 wide, is built for 26 degree angle pulleys, and is suitable for adjustable center and fixed center drives that require precise speed control at a broad range of speeds. The wide variable speed belt provides the most efficient transmission of torque through a speed range of up to 5,600 feet per minute and with motors of 5 to 7.5 horsepower at 1,750 rpm (rotations per minute). Cogs on the belt's underside provide the flexibility required for short center distances with no loss of gripping action or cross rigidity, and they help prevent cracking, which can cause premature belt failure. This belt is made of Neoprene rubber to make it oil resistant, static conductive, and give it an operating temperature of up to 200 degrees F.

This cogged V-belt is suitable for use in recreational equipment, ventilation fans, industrial water vacuums, agricultural applications, and machine tools. Variable speed belts are designed for operating at multiple speeds that may change quickly, such as treadmills, medical equipment, and automobiles.

The belts are wide in proportion to their thickness, and have a precision-molded, uniform cross section that maintains alignment without vibration problems.
